BoBunny sketch challenge!

One of my goals for 2011 is to participate in more challenges. As a beginner, I've been too shy to even think about trying any "big" challenges, like those from scrapbooking design companies. It can be kind of intimidating to look at the DT's inspiration pages, they are so elaborate and well executed that my pages just look like something made in kindergarten... But hey! I'm good at this stuff too! My scrapping friend Mahlin designs for some of the really "big" blogs in the scrapping community, and if she can do it, the least I can do is try my hardest! So here goes...

I've made a page using this sketch at the BoBunny blog. You can play too, there's still time! Check out this blog post. The title reads The Bride to be (Den blivande Bruden in Swedish), and the page features my sister, who is to be married this fall, at her engagement party. The journaling on the page reads (roughly translated from Swedish): September 12th, 2010 I and T had their engagement party in Uppsala to celebrate their engagement and to introduce their two families. We mingled and learned fun facts about each other, for example who had slipped on a banana peel (in real life!) and who had sung a song about a fat crocodile. Fun!

For my page, I've used cardstock, some corrugated kraft cardboard, designer paper (mainly from BoBunny) and some rubons, washi tape, glitter glue, pearls and alpha stickers.
