My goals for 2011

I decided to make a page about my scrappy goals for this year. I started scrapbooking and card making in May of last year and fell in head first! It's such an awesome hobby! I can jump in and do something for five minutes and come back later to do something else, or I can sit all day, like I've been doing dureing the Christmas holiday. Being a teacher is certainly good for maintaining one's hobbies, at least for short, concentrated periods of time.

This page was made using a sketch from Svensk Scrapbooking. I've used patterned papers from BoBunny, and only BoBunny! They are my favorite designer! The papers are from several different lines. I've also used some washi tape, pearls, pearl maker, brads and paper flowers from my stash.

I've done some hand stitching on this page. Originally I wanted to machine stitch it, but I discovered that the needle had broken when we moved in October, so I have to go out and find a new needle for my sewing machine before I can try that on my projects.
